Academics

At St. Michael's, our academic program is grounded in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the state’s curriculum standards, providing a solid framework for each subject and grade level. As an accredited parochial school, we follow these standards to ensure comprehensive student learning, while also extending beyond them when beneficial to foster greater student growth.

While we do not participate in the STAAR testing, we assess student progress through the nationally standardized IOWA Assessments, administered in grades 1 through 5.
Accreditation

We are fully accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department (TCCBED), upholding the highest standards of academic excellence.
